3 Reasons Brides need to Book their photographer EARLY!

To ensure you get the wedding photographer you love, book as soon as possible! Most wedding photographers have limited dates available for weddings and they book up quick! Especially the more popular dates like 02/20/2022! As it goes for me, and all of my other photog friends, we utilize a first come first serve business model. So, get out there and research local wedding photographers, fall in love with their style and BOOK them!

Wedding photographers will help with a personalized wedding day timeline
When you think of how to get all of those moving parts together for your wedding day and you come down with a serious bout of anxiety, you have three options.
Option 1: research wedding timelines and adopt a DIY wedding timeline. This can be both time consuming and stressful if you are starting where I did for my wedding, having ZERO idea of what I was doing!
Option 2: Hire a wedding planner! A wedding planner can be worth their weight in gold. They work closely with all vendors to make sure that your special day goes off without a hitch! The downside? They can be another expense in an already growing list of expenses. If a wedding planner isn’t in the budget and you don’t have the time to do a DIY timeline you best go with option 3.
Option 3: Book your wedding photographer as EARLY as possible! I mean..... get engaged, book photographer! They have timelines that they have likely used in the past just to get you started. And many photographers will work with you to fine-tune your wedding day!
I personally, create a rough draft timeline based on details known early on and my bride and I will spend as much time as needed to fine tune her day! When to do makeup, when to do family formals, how to get all of those BEAUTIFUL editorial details! Talk about a stress-reliever! Having a concrete plan will take so much off of your shoulders, I mean there can NOT be enough time for pampering right??
Engagement sessions! Need I say more?
I offer complimentary engagement sessions for each wedding booked with me. Engagement sessions do so much many things for us! Booking your wedding photographer early will allow you to get your engagement images back and use them for some really awesome save the dates! I have seen some amazing save the dates in recent years! This is a fun time where you can get really creative! Magnets, double-sided cards or pins! There are many ways to do a personal save the date. And having your professionally done engagement images to put on them makes them all that much more memorable!
